I'm using an early model iMac running 10.6.8. I am unable to use any OS higher than Snow Leopard. I discovered while trying to update to iOS8 last week that iTunes 11.4 will not allow my phones to sync. The only work-around for this was to downgrade to 11.3.1. This is working fine on my iPhone 5, but my 6+ arrived yesterday and it will not sync with 11.3.1 at all. iTunes immediately suggests updating to the current version. Activating the phone using iCloud was only partially successful because it only backed up music I got from iTunes. At this point, if I can't figure out a way to manage the content on my phone, it's useless to me.

Has anyone actually figured out a way to sync the iPhone 6 on a 32-bit machine?
