iPod touch Getting the old recycle discount on refurbished ipod touch?

i have an old video that just died on me, i know that if you recycle the old one they will give you 10% off a new ipod. so would that work on a refurbished ipod touch? also does anybody know if they actually sell refurbs in store or is that online only?

No, because Apple have to physically take your old iPod off you (you can't send it in, and it's not as if you get to keep it).

As said above, stores only, while the refurbs are only online. It seems you're out of luck with that plan.
