Getting the People album to scan remaining photos

Greetings,

When I launch my Photos app and tap on Albums, then I tap on People under People & Places, iOS tells me:

xx Photos Scanned

To finish scanning your remaining yy photos, lock your iPhone and connect it to power.

I've done that, and I've waited, but it seems to take a really long amount of time, and there really aren't that many photos remaining.

About how much time on an iPhone 13 Pro Max that is locked and connected to power, on average, do I need to wait before these remaining photos get scanned and the small faces show up so that I can identify who the faces are?

Had it on so many iOS and iPhone versions. Self corrects after a very long time. Sometimes confirming photos for people helps move things along, or maybe this is just coincidence.
