I'm a relative newcomer to the intricacies of downloading software on a mac, but currently I'm trying to get macports running on my Tiger-fueled mac. I do not have the X11 application, and at this point cannot find the OS X disc its on. So my first question is, am I screwed? Is there any way for me to get macports running without finding my disc?

My second question relates to my purpose in trying to download macports. I'm trying to use it to download the program "Unshield," which extracts data from old Windows InstallShield files. Specifically I'm trying to run some very old dos-based Windows games over dosbox, a cute little emulator, but I need to get around InstallShield first. If it turns out I can't download macports, is there any other way to get "unshield" or something similar?

Thanks a lot for any help.
