Hi, everyone.

Is it possible to manage XAVC S 4K videos taken on my Sony RX100 V using only my iPhone? I'm going travelling soon and I won't have a computer with me; just my camera, a 128GB SD card, a 64GB SD card, and my 128GB iPhone 7. I was hoping I could get everything off the camera to my iPhone and then back stuff up to iCloud (letting my iPhone then optimise storage on my device once stuff is uploaded safely).

I was just in an Apple Store and was told I only need the Lightning to SD card reader for my iPhone but when I try that it doesn't see the XAVC S 4K files (proprietary format, I guess). What are my options? I just read that the Apple Lightning to USB reader will let my iPhone see these files if I'm connected with USB to the camera and that it's in mass storage mode. Is that true? I've also seen people say this cable does let your iPhone see those XAVC S 4K files but that it often crashes copying them because of power. The latest Apple Lightning to USB cable also has a Lightning port for power. Would that help?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
