My girlfriends Dell crashed a few weeks ago. We bought an external Hd to get all her photos and videos off her HD, but her music somehow got ruined. Is there a program to get the music off her ipod nano?

You won't believe how easy it is.

1) Plug in iPod
2) Open iTunes 7
3) Right-click on the iPod (in iTunes)
4) Select "Transfer purchases"

It will copy the iPod to the iTunes library.

Believe that??

That will only copy iTunes music store purchases. I assume the OP, like most of us have ripped CDs in their library.

You will have to either re-rip your CDs, restore your backup *cough.youdohaveabackupright?cough*, or use 3rd party software to transfer off the iPod.
