gfxCardStatus App Question

I am using the app to switch between discrete and integrated on my 2011 MBP. I noticed that whenever I switch from discrete to integrated and vice versa all my flash apps stop working such as skype, you tube, vlc etc... and I have to quit and reload the app. Is this normal?

I noticed it too, i think it might be something flash isn't designed to handle.
