Anyone have this? What was your experience?

This will be my first full body skin. I usually use cases but want to try minimal protection this time.

I have it. Due to issues with my install, I ended up spending a lot of time at the Ghost Armor kiosk over the last couple of days and got to see a ton of phones being done. The full body protection has issues - the sides and corners do not adhere well every time and on mine absolutely refused to stick. The installer ended up just cutting off the sides and just doing front and back, and was doing that for almost everyone because all were experiencing similar problems. When I talked to him about it, he said only a handful of installs actually seemed to stick, and who knows if it might fail in a day or two.

And this, from another post I made about Ghost Armor:

The film is not sized to go edge to edge but can be stretched a little. But - there is a MAJOR defect with both the clear and matte protectors in my option. When wearing polarized sunglasses, there are large dark blotches all over the screen, varying in location and opacity. Looks horrible and is really distracting. I had ghost armor on my 5S and it did not have the issue, so it's definitely something in the film and/or how it interacts with the new display. I will be returning it.

I've tested it with a few different pairs of polarized sunglasses and the issue is there with all of them. I'll be posting a thread later with pics and hoping to get input from others with polarized glasses and different brands of protectors.

Thank you Jlaw, you saved me a trip to the kiosk. Guess I'll keep an eye on the boards or their website for updates.

As a ghost armor employee, Im guessing your installer just wasn't up to par in terms of skills, I've installled over 100hundreds of iPhones in the last day. And my very own personal 6+ my back has adhered properly and goes in and out of a case without even peeling

Pics please?

Best i could get with a iPad mini camera.

i preordered a full body (clear front, matte back) and when i went for install yesterday they didn't have any backs...

had them put the front on and its pretty bad. Doesn't go edge to edge, home button and front camera/speaker area look like they were cut with an exacto knife. They blamed edge-edge on apples design of beveled edge and poor cutouts on pre-release estimates.

they still owe me complete full body so im gonna keep this front on and go back when they get a re-designed kit.

interesting that the pics from reNeglect look nothing like what was put on mine. His go alot further on edges, have individual cut outs for camera/speaker, and looks like a circle cutout for home vs horeshoe exacto cut on mine.

Mine sounds just like yours and looks nothing like his either.

Phew what a day, I was number 2 in sales in Canada today. Let's just say my 8 hour shift consisted of constantly installing iPhone 6 screens. My home button cut out is a horse shoe it doesn't bother me to much and it isn't edge to edge either here up north.

reNeglect, which kiosk in Canada are you working at? I'm very dissatisfied with my Zagg Glass and I want to switch. If you work in Ontario (ie. Bramalea, Vaughan Mills) PM me and I'll swing by to meet you for some help.

----------

Also, is it just issues with the back peeling or does the front peel too?

$63 to have my Plus full body installed. $10 install fee for each side. I forgot how much they charge for an install.

Is that standard?

Im in Alberta sorry man, also no peeling issues unless you play around with it or take it in and out of cases constantly or if it was just a bad install.

Whoa  That is expensive! Why don't you go with a BSE full body which is comparable and try to apply it yourself? You can get more than one set if you think you're going to mess up and it'll still be cheaper than $63.

I got 3 iphone 6's wrapped with front screen protectors. After 24h the edges of the curved screeen lift, but if you push them back down, they eventually stick after 3 days.

For mine, I had to go back 3 times for a decent SP install. Using the skin made me remember why I loved glass so much, but once you get enough skin oils on it, I think it starts to feel better.

If you don't mind me asking, which location did you go get your ghost armor?

My advice after trying a half dozen skins for the iPhone 6 is to get the slick wraps skin. It's much better.
