I had it done on discount after picking up my iphone yesterday.
They got my phone confused with someone else's and swapped them - which would have been less of a problem but mine was a 32 and the other guy had a 16. I am fortunate the guy was a nice honest dude I'd been talking to in line for the phone.
After freaking out and running around to sort it out - they had also accidentally left the side pieces off the other guy's phone - which i had them fix before returning the phone to him.
When I get my phone back, there was a huge piece of lint under the screen, a flattened bubble.
I returned (again) and told them to redo it.. they did.
So overall the kiosk fails. I think I may call corporate. I should also add the people doing them in store at best buy in AZ seem WAAAAAAY better at it than the kiosk guys.
On to the actual product. I've used zagg and bse before.. i always said i would stick with bse.. but.. my last experience with them wasn't so great, the skin was not so great.. so I thought i'd try another more expensive brand after seeing my friend's 3gs with GA.
It's way better than BSE honestly, it's also better than zagg. There is almost NO orange peel, I actually keep checking to make sure there's on actually on there.
Obviously I can't yet speak to yellowing or peeling - but it seems on there pretty tight.
One final thought, because it is SOOO clear, it doesn't offer the same smudge / oil resistance as either the zagg or bse - you'll be wiping it down a lot. If that's important to others.
I spoke with corporate who couldn't have been nicer and more accommodating. I do like the product fwiw.. and also mistakes happen.. just make sure you totally check things over before walking away.
