iPhone Ghost sent messages to contacts

Hi,

we just had a weird thing happen to my gf's iPhone. It was put on a charger beside her bed and we were in the other room. When she went to check her phone she noticed that 10 minutes earlier the phone sent a totally random text message to two of her contacts. Nobody touched her phone in the last hour so it must have done it by itself!

She deleted one of the messages before I could say anything but i have a screenshot of the other one.


I blanked out other normal messages and reply from her confused friend who could not decipher the strange text.

Has anyone experienced something like this before? It kinda creeps us out..

Pretty sure it didn't happen on it's own…
Maybe she hit something before she set it down

That would be logical and that is what I thought. But the text was sent @ 22:25. That is more than 10 minutes after she plugged the phone to the charger and left it..
