I have a 2008 MacPro, dual xeon, with std. ATI Radeon video card, Dell 20" (1680x1050) display. When I added a second display (Planar 26" 1900x1200) , I began to notice ghosting - very faint image of the open windows , shifted over. So that if I move open windows around on the Dell the ghost of those windows could be seen moving on the Planar.
The ghosting does not appear when the computer is first booted up. But eventually it starts happening. by chance, I discovered that if I uncheck Overscan in the sys. preferences Displays options tab, the ghosting immediately disappears. I then recheck the box so the image will fill the screen. The ghosting does not come back
This makes me feel that there may be a problem with the video card.
Has anyone had similar experience ?
