My local June 5 Target ad says that iBooks & App giftcards are 20% off... On Page 13 of my SoCal ad.

RiteAid has a buy a $25 iTunes card, get $5 off coupon in their ad.

Woah, nice. I grabbed a $100 gift certificate for $85 at Best Buy this weekend, and I thought that was a good deal.

Does anyone know if you can purchase apple products through the Apple Store app with your iTunes account? In other words, can I use my credits in iTunes to apply towards the purchase of a new iPad through the Apple Store app?

The reason I ask this is because this week Target is selling all their App cards and iBook cards for 20 percent off. Effectively that's a free $20 for every 80 spent. If my theory holds true, you effectively can buy any apple product for 20 percent off. Before I purchase any more I want to know one if my theory holds true.

Does anyone know if this true? Has anyone actually made a purchase through the app?

No, iTunes gift certificates can't be used for the Apple Store.
