Gift Card trade-in website?

I wasn't sure where to put this, but does anybody know of any legit websites where you can trade in a gift card for some place else or where you can get cash in return?

I got a $50 dollar App Store gift card for Christmas but really wanted an actual Apple Store gift card to put that money towards a new Apple Smartcase for my Air. I saw a website online that would do some kind of swap just not sure if it's legit or not. Any experiences with this type of thing guys?

I used Gift Card Granny once and just selected the site that offered the highest return. I think I ended up using Cardpool but am not completely sure.

I think apple can convert it into an apple store gift card.

Seriously, have they done this for you or you heard about it being done? In person at an apple store or over the phone? The reason I ask is the nearest apple store is about 40min away from me.
