Gifted iPad - can I keep apps somehow?

never mind - figured it out. Just used the "transfer purchases" option in iTunes. I would have figured they'd make it more difficult to discourage people from sharing paid apps.

You will need the iTunes password for the account they were bought under to do much with them.
