I got my parents an iPad for Christmas. While the EA games are on sale, I'd like to gift some of them.

Is it possible to set the date that the recipient receives the gift app? I'd like to buy today and have them receive the apps on Christmas.

Wirelessly posted (Mozilla/5.0 (iPad; U; CPU OS 4_2_1 like Mac OS X; en-us) AppleWebKit/533.17.9 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/5.0.2 Mobile/8C148 Safari/6533.18.5)

As far as I know, you can't do this.

It notifies via email. So I think if you gift it to a secondary email accounts you own, you could then just forward it to him on Christmas day...

Ahhhhh, good idea. I don't have to send it to the e-mail that they have registered with iTunes?

Thanks guys.

If you also have an iPad and don't mind them sharing, then just have them register it with your Apple ID, then they can load all the apps you've already purchased on theirs without additional charge.

That's what I'm planning on doing once my gf gets her iPad sometime next year. Just share one Apple account that way we only have to pay for apps once.
