Got a Redeon Gigabyte, 7950, with 3 gig's of memory. Installed it in my Mac Pro (2010). Boots up but stops at login page. Do I need to flash the bios? If yes, how do I do that?

Read through this topic far all info you can get on flashing HD7xxx series GPU.
I had Gigabyte HD7950 Windforce in my cMP1,1 and it worked fine without flashing, so no need for that if you dont need bootscreens. What OS are you running? It has to be 10.8.3 or higher.
