Gimmicky? Chop twice to turn on flashlight? Android 5.1 Motorola add-on

For those with a Moto X (2nd gen),here is a new motion for the phone. Seems like it could be useful at times (like the twist motion for the camera), but also seems kind of gimmicky (like the draw a picture and send it to someone on the Apple Watch.)

One of my favorite moves on the OPO was the V drawing for the light. Some had issues with it turning on in pocket, I never did.

I just received my Moto x 2 today and that flashlight chomp would come in handy, at least there trying.

I think twist for camera is gimmicky and never use it. This could be useful as long as the sensitivity isn't such that it unintentionally activates in normal use.

I find it useful but it would be better if I could use the twist to activate the Google camera app rather than the Moto one (Google camera app has more options) but the option to enable the wrist-twist is INSIDE the Moto camera app so that won't happen.

I haven't had ANY problems with it activating unexpectedly, in fact if I don't do it right I have to try again to get the camera open. One place it falls short, if you have a PIN code lock screen (if you don't, shame) it won't work.
