I IanC macrumors regular Original poster Jan 29, 2005 204 0 Essex Feb 22, 2006 #1 Whenever i launch GIMP.app it starts to load, brings up the first loading window and then stops. I have even left it for 10 minutes but nothing. On my iBook however, it works fine. Any ideas?

M-theory macrumors 6502 Dec 1, 2005 299 0 Pittsburgh, PA Feb 22, 2006 #4 I'm fairly certain that you need GTK+ to run gimp. http://gtk-osx.sourceforge.net/ do you have GTK+ with the iMac? I suggest uninstalling gimp, install gtk+, install gimp.
