I am the owner of the HomeKit house. I just left the country for 3 years minimum and my GF is staying at the house. She is an administrator with privileges to add accessories. However she is unable to add a HomePod because it requires the owner. Apparently Apple treats HomePods different from other accessories (despite the setting). My hunch tells me because it’s a hub, but apparently Apple TV doesn’t have this restriction, maybe because Siri? I don’t know.

So…how can she add this HomePod to the HomeKit house? I don’t see any setting to allow two owners; which seems ridiculous, or even transfer ownership.
