Girlfriend just dropped and shattered her iPhone 4 screen

Her warranty expires next Monday. I know this isn't covered but will the Apple genius let her buy a refurbished phone for $150 or will they try to replace the front glass?

Check your bank and home insurance. You may well find that accidental damage is covered....You are going to have to be really lucky to get a genius to replace this....Also, the fall could have caused interior damage too.

They will take her cracked iPhone and replace it for $150.
