Girlfriends Macbook Pro not showing up in "shared" in finder?

Just moved into a new place and set the internet up. Noticed that when my girlfriend and I are both connected, she dosen't show up in the "shared" section of my finder. Not only that, but there is no shared section at all. Also, should my iPhone show up when I connect it?

Okay.

Now, first of all. If you want the shared section (which I believe is only in the sidebar in Leopard and Snow Leopard), make sure that all the boxes are checked in your 'Finder Preferences -> Sidebar' settings.

If after this, she is still not showing up, make sure she has 'File Sharing' enabled in her Sharing Preferences in her 'System Preferences'.

And no, your iPhone will not show up in the sidebar.
