Give Trash Back to the Desktop

Is it just me or would anyone else like it if the next revision of OS X gave the trash back to the desktop or is everyone really that happy with the trash in the Dashboard?

You mean in the dock? It has been like this since OS X came out.

i like it in the dock. its always right there when you need it and doesnt get in the way. however i guess they could give the option to remove it from the dock and put it on the desktop

i like it better in the dock, i often have too many windows open that would be covering the desktop trash. then again, i dont hide the dashboard.

Just spotlight the folder .Trash, and dra it to the desktop.

When I first moved to OS X from OS 9, the fact that the Trash wasn't on the Desktop really bugged me. Now, I couldn't imagine it anywhere else than in my Dock.

Of course, in the good old days us UKers had it called the 'Wastebasket' rather than the more Americanised 'Trash', but that's a conversation for another thread...

Dock is fine with me. I don't have anything on the desktop. I like it clean like that.
