Given the online Apple Store's "3-5 Business Days.."

.. How much do you guys feel it'll impact lines and wait times today?

I've read thread and comment one after the other about ordering online and hopes of getting it overnighted instead of waiting in line.

I wake up this morning to see that Apple isn't shipping for 3-5 business days. I wonder how many people decided not to order online, and buy today instead? I had considered overnighting it if I were able to, considering i live in Florida and CA is 5-7 days away via fedex/UPS. Add 3-5 business days, and one is now talking 2-3 weeks before receiving. Yuck.

I think it will depend on the store.

I've seen this before. Just look above at the 'Meet-up' threads.

Some places already have lines, while right down the street nothing.

I don't think it will really affect lines. Honestly, the only people who won't order online are intense apple fans. Most people are willing to wait a week to get a product they are paying over five hundred dollars for.
