I hear ya' but I was wondering if their 3G iPhone on their website was the actual v2 3G iPhone??? It looks longer, yet slimmer.

The breaking tag is a little misleading, it was published:

It's already been dissected - one problem being the referral to release at year's end - since when was that a widely held rumour?
Secondly, we know there is still debate over whether there will be announcement come the 9th, and staggered release. The AT&T no holiday time period is a week after the 9th for example...
