I didn't really have to deal with anything, went to Verizon's site 10 minutes early clicked pre order and was done in 5 minutes.

As far as I know, it is AT&T policy (friend of mine was a manager) not to allow employees to reserve iPhones specifically for friends and family.

If you are getting it, that guy is probably fired.

Early bird gets the worm.. which is why I ordered mine right as they opened pre sales on apple.com now I will have it on launch or earlier if apple sends them early again!

My order went very smooth. Likley the best ever. I simply go on with my business until the truck delievers it on the 21st. Do not see how it could be better than that!

Well I have no choice as I have 25 employees depending on me. While the iPhone 5 is OK, it is not near as important to me as I see it is to people here. There are people here who would sell their little sister for a new iPhone
