So my Wife and I both have Apple Watches, and I have a Daughter that does not.
When I send a Glance, Tap Heart Beat ect to my Wife it shows its coming from my Daughter. When my Wife send it back or one direct from me in her Glance it shows up on my watch as from her.
So its only from my Watch to her watch.
We all have separate ID's emails ect, the only thing we share is iMessage.
Any ideas?
Called Tech and worked thru a few things but no luck.
Thanks

That's the problem. You need separate AppleIDs for iMessage.

My wife, kids and I share one AppleID for the App Store and separate IDs for absolutely everything else.

You can also go into the Settings app on your phone and see what the default is set to for new messages. Settings -> Messages -> Send & Receive -> Start New Conversations From. Mine was set to my work iPhone number. So when I used my watch to send a message to my sister it came from that number.

The send and receive is each persons phone, so thats not it.
I hate to mess with the iMessage, but will try today to see if that fixes it.

You all share 1 imessage account?

That's definately the issue here.

It's your life, and you can live it however you want, and i'm not judging, but why do you all share 1 imessage account?

They may not share an iMessage account but use the same Apple ID's for purchases. The watch doesn't allow you to use a separate ID for iMessage at this point.

So if I split up the iMessage accounts, you guys think that will solve the problem?
Thanks

those aren't glances, that is digital touch.

Haha,
Your totally right.

I did sort of fix the issue by splitting everyones iMessage account to their own Apple ID.
So now my Digital Touch shows correctly on my Wifes Watch.
The only thing still weird is my Daughters contact in Digital Touch still shows her having a Watch and able to send a DT even though she does not have one.
