Glare on 27" Display?

Does anyone have a APPLE 27 inches? I like it but about half the reviews say they can't stand the REFLECTION off the GLOSSY SCREEN?

Advise there?

I got my sites on the DELL 30 inch and as far as I know its MATTE screeened

Yes, it is glossy, but it hasn't been an issue for me

I have two 27" Apple Cinema Displays. I have no reflection issues with them. Just put the display at a place where reflection can be reduced or eliminated.

Reflection is certainly a problem if you let strong light (such as bright sunshine) fall onto the screen.

It's not that it's a glossy screen, it's that there's a sheet of glossy glass in front of said glossy screen. It's definitely annoying if you can't control the light around you or position of the screen. But if you can, the reflections virtually disappear.

Ditto. It all depends on the placement.

Depending on the lighting in the room it can get glossy. I bought an anti-glare cover which significantly reduced glare.
