Hi!

I'm in the market of a 22-24" monitor with full HD resolution. My old one does not work very well, so I want a new monitor that can handle glare and have great contrast(?).

Any tips? :)

What does "HD resolution" mean to you?

Full HD, 1920x1080.

Most 24" monitors can easily handle resolution 1900x1200 or there about.

There are many monitors out there that range from cheap to high end (graphics quality). Dell is a usual bet with their "ultra" series and similar. I happen to use an NEC P series as I calibrate it for art work (Photoshop etc.).

Thank you!

Would you say that Dell U2412M is a good bet?

Not trying to be sketchy here but you may want to check out reviews on this Dell model. - Both a pro review and then actual owners. Best I know, it is a fine choice.

(The reason I can't give absolute props to this model is because in fairness I don't own it. I own a monitor from another maker but I can say I have had higher end Dells before and they were excellent for the price and quality.)
