I bought an early 2015 MacBook from Best Buy (Geeksquad Certified Refurbished) for a pretty good price, and I picked it up late yesterday. I noticed what I thought was some sort of residue on the screen but after trying to wipe it off with an anti-static cloth I'm convinced that it's a defect in the glass.

Has anyone ever seen something like this before? I hate to return it since it's such a good deal, but it's not something I can live with. Thanks!

Documented issue, colloquially known as 'Staingate'. Apple will sort it free of charge.
