Glass does not flush to the sides of phone

I'm not sure if I'm crazy or not but is it supposed to be completely flushed on all sides?

When holding my phone the ride side of the phone isn't flushed. The glass doesn't touch the metal like the left side does. It has a white border thats raised up between the glass and the border. Is this a defect? I've been using my phone without a case so it's really bothering me.

It's hard to show with pictures but it basically creates a "shadow" along the right border no matter what angle I hold it or what lighting it is.

I have the same issue just near the volume buttons. From what I read on apple.com's forums theres others with the issue. One guy said its from the phones slightly bending causing the screen to pop up. Gonna take mine to an Apple Store and see what they say maybe I can exchange it.

so they didn't replace the phone? That really sucks.
