For a while I have noticed the glass effect that Apple puts on some of the images on their site. I remember them the other day with the introduction of the iPhone (on the orange, blue and green things I think it was that say Widescreen iPod, Phone etc...) Is there any app out there that does this? I know pages does the reflection effect but have not seen the glass thing anywhere.

Do you mean something like this?
The top half of the image is separated by a slight curve and is lighter.

Yeah about that, I just downloaded GIMP, and it says I require X11. I know what that is but can I use it on an Intel Mac? (I have a MacBook.)

yeah, ur OSX Tiger CD has X11 on it, u can do a search about the how to installed it.
