My Daughter just told me she cracked the glass panel on her 13 inch macbook pro. Apple wants 600 to replace it. Any one have any clue if the online companies that replace them like iresq.com are trustworthy? Only 129.00 plus shipping to replace this.

Thanks
Tom

I was looking at the process of replacing it - I dont think my daughter would "allow" me to do that. Ive built tons of desktops in my life but doing that to a laptop is a bit more then ive done in the past.

It's really not too difficult of a repair, especially if you've opened desktops and are familiar with computers. All your are doing is the first step of the guide i linked above.

Here is youtube video on how to do it.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Tq3Xi2cSGGA

iResQ is quite reputable, I've sent stuff to them to be fixed a number of times. Reasonable costs and they always do a good job.
