Alright, I've dropped my beloved iPod Touch. And now there is a significant crack in the screen.

With scams left and right, can anyone here vouch for any repair companies, that repair iPod Touch, 2nd Gen screens?

(Apparently the glass is different from the 1st Gen, as my local repair folks pointed out)

Apple wants $200 to do it, which is ridiculous for a $300 device.

Any help?

To be honest, most repairs cost about as much as the iTouch itself.

Some places are cheaper than others, though. Like, the reputable place I know of charges $80 for this repair on the iPod Touch, 1st Gen.

Do you know of any places?

Does anyone know of a reputable repair person? Sorry to bump, I just didn't get much response.

Rapid repair does it for $150. I have not ever used them but have heard fairly good things in other forums...
