Is there any mockups of a MacBook Air that takes the new glass screen, etc.?

Barbie.

The Macbook Air already is Unibody.

As for the glass screen, I think that might add to the weight of the product too much.

Let's hope Apple does not hear you ...if you want a black rim glass screen you could buy a Macbook.
One of the main point of the MBair is its pure, minimalist and classy look. Although its glossy, poor resolution screen could be mate and much better. like a Lenovo X301 for instance 1440x900 .

It would be nice to have a little more resolution, but the screen itself is very high quality.

As for the Black Bezel, apparently it will add too much weight.

The Glass Trackpad will likely make its way to the Air next time. Haven't heard any reasons for it not to be.

The MacBook Air screen is very, very nice compared to the regular MacBook.

Yeah, a glass trackpad would be super, and would add to the minimal look! Maybe we'll get an even thinner Air in October...

I agree... if compared to the lousy one of the macbook.
But at MB air prices, a higher resolution, a mate finsh option and better viewing angle should be available . It is on the PC side at Lenovo and toshiba

From my understanding, at the moment there is quite of tech beneath the glass trackpad, so a thinner macbook air and a glass trackpad might be not be feasible.

Glasspad without the physical click might fit in a MBA. It'd be a Steve Jobs kinda thing to do - removing physical clicks entirely.

There's not that much wrong with getting thinner :D I'm sure Apple could pull something off - especially at the backend (excuse me) of the Air

Barbie.

maybe they can come up with something so thin it could be labled fragile.

How about getting rid of half of the bezel? ;)

Agreed. I don't think its enough to make it look ugly at this point but it would certainly make it look slicker..and give you more real estate in the same footprint.
