I just tried to go to glennwolsey.com and a notice of excessive apple fanboism appeared, and said that the site has been taken down.

Is this just a prank, or did someone mess with the site?

that's really weird, maybe send him a pm and see what's up. It's showing a for sale page now  That site is very popular... his posts always seem to make the front page of digg.

Here is what it was saying (from google cache) looks like it was hacked:
Notice

This website has been flagged for excessive Apple fanboism, and has been taken down for 24 hours.

This is a message to the rest of the Mac community, so listen up. Ever heard of hubris?
Tone it down, and you will not be attacked. Everyone else is open game.

Wow, the Mac vs PC argument hit a new low today then did it?

I hope your site returns quickly Glenn.

Wow... what's with this Malcor guy? He just takes down websites for a few hours just to prove that he can hack? Well, hope Macapper is Ok.

Wow. I don't know Glenn, and whatever his past on here was, but that's just ridiculous.

The kid's like what 16? And you take down his site? That makes you really cool now.

On a side note, his site seems to be back up. GlennWolsey.com

Seems there is a buzz on the web that the malcor fanboy hacks of glennwolsey.com and macapper.com may have been PR stunt or marketing ploy. The lack of discussion on the media temple and WP support forums suggests that neither consider this to be a significant vulnerability. Of course, there is also speculation is that it was a lame attempt to increase traffic to these sites or is a preclude to macheist 2008. I know Glenn was previously involved in promoting MyDremApp/MacHeist and he setup the macApper site. If it does prove to be a PR stunt, I cannot think that this will do anything to help their respective sites in the long-term.

I hope you guys know it was not a hacker. He did it himself to get more publicity.

Makes me not like him and his blog even more.
