Glitch in Mavericks/15inch retina MBP (last model)

I recently upgraded to mavericks on my early 2013 15inch Retina MBP.

I've noticed the icons on my desktop all blink. As in they go away then quickly come back.

Also now and then it's taking the computer a MUCH longer time to connect to wifi.

Lastly, I'm frequently running two full screen modes of Safari (two websites, two full screen)... however it never stays on the length i want it. Doesn't matter which site I am looking at, it always flys me back over to the desktop. (it does NOT kill the full screen mode, it basically does the 3-finger swipe back to the desktop)

What's up what that? Am I alone here?

Do you have google drive installed? I've seen a thread about this and either uninstalling or applying a patch by google will resolve this
