I recently started experiencing weird screen flashes. I first saw them using external monitor, so I thought it might be a monitor or cable problem, but then I saw them happen on an internal display as well. What happens is my screen turns into a glitchy colored (pink, green, white) mess for a split second. Doesn't seem to happen to often, I'd say in 12 hours i get to see it 4 times. Also, since it happens so fast I can't be sure, but it fills like it doesn't always glitch out the whole screen.

The attached image looks close enough to what I feel is happening on my screen, except maybe I get more blocky then stripy thing. Again, hard to tell since it appears for less than a second. What could this be a sign of? A dying gpu? Any estimation on how long till the part responsible is completely dead?
