Has anyone had a problem with their glossy screen becoming a little unglossy?

I've noticed that if I clean my screen (so it is all nice and superclean) and I don't wipe my keyboard... Then if I close the macbook then open the macbook the screen will have smears on it. Presumably because it is touching up on the keyboard (no other way). I'm pretty sure I see a line of the space bar - in particular.

I think I'm getting a couple of spots where the glossyness might be rubbing off... I'm not too worried at this stage (still well covered by applecare). But... Replacing the screen sounds like a pain in the butt. Should the keyboard even be touching the screen?
