I'm looking to get a modular system like this and this from Glyph. I just really don't want to pay their steep premium on their enclosures/seagate hard drives. I've run across similar systems like this but never one that will allow me to take a drive out of the portable single drive unit and plop it into a permanent, stationary setup.
Does anyone know of a company or setup that could compete with the Glyph mentioned above (has to be firewire ).
