so you're playing a song, and then you stop it the album art + song STAY ON THE LOCKSCREEN.

i have to go into my phone and quit music from the multitasking tray to get rid of it.

in ios 1-6, when you pause, it would get rid of the album art completely.

so how do you do it? or is going into the multi tasking menu the only way...

I remember in the betas that the album art would stay for a while too, and then it would disappear eventually.

I think maybe its just in case your were pausing it for a moment. Not really sure on the reason.

unlock the phone. It is gone the next time you lock it. probably stays until you unlock it so you can easily start playing your music again.
