GM is the same as public release, just an early release for developers. You will not get any notice to update on Wednesday, because you already have that version.

No, when they get to the stores, the employees have to unwrap all of them, flash the new version, then put everything back and reseal the boxes. It's very tedious...

Yes..It is the same as the public release...it works the exact same way..it is not different at all..
