GM to Retail

Hi,
I have had Lion GM running since it came out. I got it on imzdl.com, so it wasn't right from Apple (no registration). So on July 23, I come to find out that all my dock icons were default, I now had a new screensaver, and that I mysteriously updated to retail. D: When I went to the App Store, Lion said its already installed. When I go to recovery, the validation passes. I have no clue how my serial number could have gotten to Apple, or how I could have unknowingly updated to retail. Can someone explain this? Also, under About this Mac, it does in fact say "Lion 10.7" instead of "Lion 11A511". I have no clue how this happened....

Is the forum search broken? No it works...
 
I know, but what I'm getting is that if you were to try to purchase retail from GM, it would say you have a newer version. Whereas for me, it says "Installed" instead of "Buy". And why would my screen saver and dock have changed out of no where.
