Gmail ActiveSync Push Lagging?

I'm wondering if anyone has noticed lagging in the last week with email syncing with Gmail set up as Exchange on their iPhone.

I've got two domains in Google Apps (free). These are "grandfathered" iPhones, set up before the ActiveSync switch-off at Google.

Email is working...but it seems like "fetch".

If you respond, please include your type of account (@gmail, Google Apps free, or Google Apps for Business).

Yeah I see the lag as well. Using free @gmail on iPhone 5.

My gmail account set up using Microsoft Exchange seems like it completely stopped working today. Anybody else notice this?

Today a client had Gmail on an iPad (set up as Gmail...not Exchange) that hadn't been updating mail for several days. Deleting the account and re-adding it got things moving again.
