GMAIL app

I noticed that the new GMAIL app uses a lot of battery. Just checking email made battery drop from 100% to 96% in like 5 minutes.

Went back to stock Apple Mail battery use is normal. Yea it does not seem to push but at least it doesn't kill my battery.

For me the latest update is a nice improvement and no battery issues.

I use the gmail app every day and I haven't noticed a reduction in battery life on the recent updates.

I gave up on the Gmail and within two months since it kind of lacked… I fetch every hour and all my devices running iOS and they still seem to get the notifications around the same time if not sooner than my androids. Go figure!
