This is a pretty weird problem I've been having on and off for the past few months... Every now and then, when I type a URL into Safari, it loads a completely different site... For example, facebook.com will load myspace.com. This usually lasts for around 30 minutes or so, and then it goes back to normal. The URLs affected vary... right now, when I try to load gmail.com, Safari loads an error page from Yahoo! (but the URL in the address bar is still gmail.com). If I try to go directly to Gmail by typing in mail.google.com, Safari says "cannot connect to server". I attached a screenshot of what happens when I go to gmail.com.

I have no idea what could be causing this... the URL "switching" seems to initiate randomly... and it eventually resolves itself. Any ideas?

Hmm... that seems to have fixed it. My previous DNS server was Comcast... I'm assuming that means there are other people in my area who are having the same problem then?

They might be.
