Ok, so I always had Gmail for my contacts backup, but Gmail hasn't been syncing for some reason. Whenever I added a contact, it would go into my Gmail contacts, but since it wasn't connecting, I deleted my Gmail account and set it back up.

Now I noticed all the new contacts I have added in recent months are not there anymore and it looks more like what was only in my Gmail contacts.

Is there a way I can go back to what my contacts were before? I honestly don't know what I did and did not mean to bring the Gmail contacts into my phone. I simply wanted to continue to use it as a backup should I ever need to get my contacts if they were lost from my phone.

I didn't have iCloud backup turned on, so that contacts list is even more outdated.

I just want to go back to the contacts list I had on my phone before it synced with Gmail.

Thanks
