Been using Gmail for well over a decade and never had this issue before. We have a Gmail account for work, and last week a customer claimed they had left us 3 voicemails over the holiday which I never received (voicemails come in the form of an email with an audio file attached). After hanging up with them, I checked our spam folder, but they weren't there. Then about 5 seconds after switching back to the inbox, all of a sudden about 20 emails dumped into my inbox from up to 2 days before that I had never received (including her voicemails)! Not cool! Also happened a couple days later with a personal Gmail account.

Anyone else had this happen to you? I never suspected anything was wrong, because I was still receiving emails, but apparently not all of them. For some reason Gmail delayed delivery of certain emails over a couple days and then decided to deliver them all at once.

Yep I saw that to in US! I know I read about a Weather incident at Network Center location in general area! Even the Cloud can fall to Mother Nature, especially in Winter! Google put one Center in Snowy Syracuse, New York! It almost as snowy as Buffalo!
