I'm not sure if the thread title is an accurate description of my problem, but I'll try to explain here. I have a Gmail account set up in Apple Mail. I have several labels I use in Gmail, and while I can see the labels in Apple Mail, the emails that filter into the labels in Gmail don't show up in the label folders in Apple Mail.
For example, I have a label called Tom. I have a Gmail filter set up to pull emails from Tom into the Tom label "bucket". I see Tom's emails show up in the label "bucket" in Gmail, but the Tom folder in Apple mail remains empty. Tom's emails don't show up in my main Apple Mail inbox either.
In Gmail settings, I've made sure that all my labels are set to show in Imap, but I'm not sure what else to do. I don't see a similar option in filter settings. I really don't like the Gmail interface, so I'm really hoping to figure this out. I feel like I've reached the end of the internet searching for an answer, so hopefully someone here can share some insight. Thanks in advance.
