GMail Help Needed

Whenever I try to access my GMail on the iPhone all I get is a pop-up that reads: Cannot Get Mail. The connection to the server 'gmail' failed.

I went to GMail on the computer, and it's set up for Pop mail, and I have no problem accessing my messages and sending new ones.

I can't figure out what configuration changed on my phone, or if it's just got some sort of bug.

Any help?
