I know this is a common issue, but i can't find an answer for it anywhere. My Gmail account doesn't want to work in Mail. I have to get those emails forwarded to another account. I know it's something to do with the imap error that gmail accounts face with iPhones/Macs. Does anyone know how to fix this?
Thank you.

Is this a recent issue, or a general issue you are having? Make sure you have enabled Imap in your gmail account settings, and you should be all set.

Too many Imap accounts open can lock you out of gmail Imap for 24 hours. For example, if you are using mail on your mac, ipad, and iphone at the same time, that is Imap overload for Gmail, and they will lock the account for 24 hours.
